The Muddy Flowers Play UCI

The Muddy Flowers play UCI

The Muddy Flowers will be playing at UCI on Wednesday (February 24) thanks to our good, good friends at Acrobatics Everyday! They'll be in the Cross Cultural Center, which is where Vivian Girls played when they came by, so don't miss out! The Muddy Flowers will be in full electric band-mode and playing with Canyons (who are friends of friends and very good), Ellie Fortune and Mason Lindahl. It's $5 so you have no excuse not to show up and enjoy a particularly rad show.

Sun Energy Sound End Their Hiatus to Play Two Shows With Presstones

they always said they'd be back

Sun Energy Sound have emerged from their self-imposed exile and have already booked two shows with a young Los Angeles experimental musician known only as Presstones. The first of these shows will occur tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5011 Adams Blvd aka McWorld. They will be test-running their new found partnership out in a live setting for the first time. Nothing has been rehearsed and the 3 men have never been in the same room together before. "Dig it?" they said to us and little else. The second of these impromptu shows will occur at the BANANAS show on February16 at 4343 Leimert blvd Leimert Park 90008. Be sure to bring your brains in a hat.

RSVP via Last.fm:
McWorld (2/9/10)
BANANAS (2/16/10)

"Recent Music Heroes" and "Engendered from Divine Breath"

Crowcat's music was singled out and posted on the Estonian blog "Recent Music Heroes" and was subsequently translated on "Engendered from Divine Breath". We are eternally grateful for their promotion of our work and the incredibly generous 9.5/10 they gave "Freestreet". We know that blogging is usually a thankless job, but we would like you guys to know that we really appreciate it. We love you guys!
